1. Have Eight Arms and Two Tentacles

The squid head is equipped with 10 versatile tentacles. While eight squid tentacles are short, and two other tentacles are longer. The eight short tentacles are usually called arms, while two long tentacles are called tentacles. Long tentacles have suckers, so they can be used to catch prey and climb something while in the water. If the short tentacles (arms) do not have suckers. However, this part can grow again if broken.

2. Have the Strong and Sharp Beak

Squid has the strong and sharp beak. The beak is hidden in his mouth. It is used to kill and rip their prey. Although strong, this beak does not contain minerals at all. Just like humans, squid also have hearts. The difference is, the heart of a squid is three, while our heart is only one. Two squid hearts are used to regulate the gills, while the other heart is used to pump blood throughout the body. Squid’s heart is usually greenish in color.
